going over the pyrenees mountains from france into spain in the dead of winter dragging a 14 pound.wooden leg behind her in the snow. it shows you there isn't anything you can't do. yeah, i just want to add to that i think and a little bit to the last question one of the things that have as the women came out at the end of the war came back to france and were so traumatized. they formed these groups called amical which were kind of survivor networks to help each other out that you know to help each other to get clothes and to find a job a place to live and also some of them were quite ill so it was also to just help them through their medical difficulties and and those groups continued and they kept records and they kept newsletter and and then as those there's still a few survivors left to have that privilege of meeting a few of them. but now it's it's the families of the survivors and other people who are keeping this archive, but it is this legacy that's there and it was created, you know by the by the survivors themselves just to help each other out they were really and i found
