emily: what about this apple-qualcomm developing situation where a judge has ruled in qualcomm's favorre ongoing suits around the world between apple and qualcomm. in this particular case today, the ruling favored qualcomm. gene: this has been a war of words. a legal war too. big judgments, lots of appeals on those judgments. hard to say how much money has changed hands through all of this. i think the simple take away is this -- the language is very strong between the two companies. ultimately, i think apple will find a way to work with qualcomm on the next 5g radio chip. down the road, apple will want to do exactly what they did with the a4 chips and their a-series of chips. they will want to vertically integrate this. from my perspective, they were be if you billion dollars changed hands -- a few billion dollars changed hands here. this is giving apple even more confidence and motivation to vertically integrate around a competitive qualcomm chip. emily: well, qualcomm touted this as a victory. apple meantime continued to say that qualcomm's ongoing campaign is nothing more than atte
