new this morning, a hit and run in queens. a car slamming into two people and then into a restaurant. "today in new york's" tracie strahan is in queens village where this all happened. tracie. >> reporter: michael, it seems like all of this happened pretty quickly and really just hours ago. now this crown fried chicken where all of this happened has been boarded up. police are still looking for the driver behind all of this. show you video of that white infinity that's sticking out of this restaurant. it appears it turned from boulevard before 1:00 this morning. police tell us that that driver struck two pedestrians that were walking by and then continued to veer into the restaurant. that driver fled. the pedestrian currently being treated with nonlife threatening injuries. police tell me they have broken legs at long island jewish hospital. as for the driver of the car, we don't know where he is right now. we'll show you video of crews that were boarding up this restaurant tirelessly and for a few hours not only trying to get a hold on it but make sure it's still structurally sound. police are still bloc
