the other night, i was talking with rachel matthau about this when it came to the state department.ave such a high regard for many of the foreign service officers and civil servants i worked with at all levels in the state department and i think about some of the crises that we confront with north korea. people that know the language and history and have the experience in the korean peninsula and china and japan, they should be sitting in meetings with the highest levels of this administration providing advice and information that could be useful on behalf of the country. if there is such a disdain for the federal workers, so if we can stick it out, stick it out because the tide has turned.
