let's bring in rachel nichols.he's an analyst for fox sports and pete dominick, a comedian and host of stand up with pete dominick podcast. good to see you both here. pete, how do you feel about disney's decision? >> it's awful. i mean, it's terrible. i did my college internship at disney world, actually in 1994. i used to be a big disney fan, and they used to be like on the forefront, progressive in terms of gay rights and welcoming benefits for for gay employees and so on. but the idea that, i mean, let's not be let down by giant media companies or entertainment companies not being allies for marginalized communities, but to their shareholders, which is exactly what what disney is doing, you know. and the idea that they're giving this up to parents, i've been in the trenches and the school board fights over trans students. it is so horrible and ugly, and representation matters so much in our country, in our world always. and to have a trans person represented in this way would be progress, but they are not going

let's talk more about this with rachel nichols, host of showtime's headliners with rachel nichols.hel, great to have you here with us. one of the more famous sayings in sports is father time is undefeated. and it seems that perhaps time is catching up to lebron james. kind of like all of us. >> well, i mean, it's so jarring because lebron ran so deeply against that trend. he actually did a nike campaign a couple of years ago, which was him versus a character dressed as father time, who he kept beating. and it seemed totally reasonable for nike to do this advertising campaign because that's what he was doing. even the beginning of this season, he was scoring triple doubles at this outrageous clip. he looked incredible out there, but he has hit a skid, as have the lakers. and it's brought up a lot of questions about how much longer he wants to keep doing this. how much longer can he keep doing this, and does he want to hang on on a team that doesn't seem to really have a chance of winning anything? >> yeah, and you've covered him for a long time. i mean, what is your insight into kin

joining me now is rachel nichols, the host of showtime's headliners rachel.caa is going to have to do a lot about this to make sure this doesn't happen again. unreal. >> yeah i mean, they've already levied each team a $100,000 fine. they say that's the end of it for them. obviously there will be sort of blowback and repercussions throughout the season, especially for ohio state just in losing this game. i mean, michigan was more than a 20 point underdog here. and now there's questions about whether the coach should be fired. meanwhile, they were the number two team in the country. so this knocks them out of the big ten championship. you know we don't have to see where they go in the playoffs. but the fight itself, it was just sort of stunning because it was so big masses of people. and then you had on one side you had guys punching each other and several of the players emerge bloodied and on the other side, you had guys who were shaking hands. still, they didn't even know that was going on. on the other side of the field and in some ways, jim we can expect th
