and what i'm going to show you here is let's start -- let's get back to san rafael in just a second. let me go up to our south beach camera and show you, look at, that 83/100 of an inch of rain. the western span of the bay bridge is definitely wet. here's a look at walnut creek and 85/100 of an inch of rain. we're definitely looking at slick spots there and look at the mother load in san rafael, 2.36 inches. that is a lot, and you know, the north bay can usually handle a lot like that compared to the rest of us, and sure enough, you did receive the most of it. so let's take a look at what's going on with live doppler 7, and we've got that one possible thunderstorm that's heading towards novato, and right around where 37 meets 101. so expect a little bit of a downpour and some ponding on the roadways over the next half hour to 45 minutes. you're looking at just showers. that's what we're dealing with now. the atmospheric river is going to stall to our south. there's potential for 30 inches of rain, some of our most extreme models there, and up to 20 feet of snow. that's the extremes t

we've also seen the rain not move from the richmond-san rafael bridge.t's also extending parts of the east bay and over towards hercules and just south of vallejo and will still have some times of heavy rain. but what's going on here as we can see, the wide view of this storm system, all of that heavy snow following off the sierra. still the center of the storm still to the north of us and that's usually where we see a little more energy. the air is forced to rise more rapidly and it could cause some thunderstorms as we go into today, even as the heavier rain has shifted to the south. let's take a look back at how much rain we've already measured with this storm. i've seen rainfall totals up to 4 inches in the santa cruz mountains, over toward a more populated area of ben lomond we had 3.5 inches of rain. lake curry is measuring over 3 inches of rain, fairfax close to 3 inches of rain. san bruno mountain measured 1.5. oakland as well as san francisco getting 0.8 of an inch. in antioch close to 1.5. check out morgan hill, 2.25 inches of rain, dublin 1.25

into san francisco, crossing that richmond-san rafael bridge.o we're going to see it continuing throughout the morning with some breaks in between, but we're not done with this system yet. some of that heavier rain rolled through overnight. we see all of the heavy snow coming down in the sierra and the potential of some thunderstorms will continue as we see the system getting closer and moving through today. if you're wondering how much rain have we had, parts of the santa cruz mountains getting 3.5 to 4 inches of rain but we've also seen heavy rainfall in napa county, with lake county measuring almost 3 inches of rain. in fairfax, san bruno mountain had an inch and a half and oakland as well as san francisco getting about 0.8 of an inch of rain. for santa rosa, more than an inch and a half there. antioch reaching an inch and three-quarters. this is what we're expecting, some spotty rain and thunderstorms, heavier rain moving in tonight with gusty winds. snow will be capping a lot of our bay area peaks and we're still watching out for the potent
