a possible candidate for mayor says rahm emanuel has it out for eight aldermen who have stood up againstd alderman bob fioretti tells the sun-times that emanuel's allies formed a new super-pac to bring down the so-called "progressive caucus." that includes fioretti and seven other aldermen. fioretti says the super-pac's goal is to raise money to help get those aldermen voted out of office. he is reportedly considering running against emanuel for mayor. senator mark kirk is pushing a faith based initiative to help children who are crossing the border illegally. kirk says his office is working with religious organizations and community groups to connect with young immigrants who are detained in the area. he says these young people need to be cared for, so they don't fall into a life of crime. >> the have and taking care of these kids we need to administer to them on a volunteer basis to make sure they have greater chances. there's a network behind them and makes them better. >>kirk says this program would also help immigrant children learn english, get mentoring, and faith based counseling
