right now the rain is passing and we see pockets of heavier rain near the lehigh valley, now stretching that rain into philadelphia and into camden county. but it won't last your whole day. about the first half of your day. let's take a closer look at where the rain is a little steadier. and now creeping on into parts of upper bucks county, as well. once we get down into the lower suburbs and into philadelphia, it's a light rain right now, but the steadier stuff is heading our direction and this will be spreading into south jersey and parts of delaware, as well. temperature wise, you can tell when the rain clears, because the temperature bumps on up. we've got 60s this morning. you might want a light jacket or an umbrella as you head out the door. but as we get into your afternoon hours, right about here, lunchtime. that's when the rain clears out, the sun will come out, and look at how nice the afternoon is for us. mid-70s for us. so coming up in a few minutes, we'll talk more about the showers this morning, but the afternoon sunshine. also look into your sunday, temperatures keep warm

a lot of rain far and wide across the uk, 56 millimetres of rain already on the isle of man, and thenttest weather developing in the south—east, spilling into east anglia. both those areas seeing about a month's worth of rain injust 24 hours or so. and with the rain developing more widely, particularly in england and wales, and with some heavy rain too, a lot of water on the roads, surface spray, even into the morning rush—hour, it could be quite tricky on the roads if you are going to be travelling. you can see how extensive the rain is across england and wales by wednesday morning. still some heavy bursts of rain too. briefly some rain for northern ireland but much of scotland may well stay dry. may well brighten up towards the south—east but unlikely to do so in the south—west of england, the threat of more rain coming in here. and the rain never really clears away from wales. if it does brighten up and turns a bit warmer in the south—east later, we could trigger a few heavy showers. but further north, much cooler across the north midlands, especially northern england with the rain

here comes the rain. everybody is going to see rain this morning.first of the showers just starting to move into berks county. very light rainfall. expect the first rain drops are just reaching into redding right now. steadier rain, dover and lancaster and that's what's going to be moving in this morning for the morning commute. sweeps through the area. see a break in the rainfall. not going to be with us all morning, but there's more wet whether and it can be traced to right there. remnants of tropical storm. not just a tropical depression. minimal winds. tremendous moisture. we will see showers this morning. and then this afternoon, this evening, more showers in our area. in fact the chance of showers stays with us overnight tonight, but some of the heaviest downpours, tropical downpours. will be coming at us first thing in the morning tomorrow. that's three in the morning. look at 6:30 in the morning. heavy downpours. delaware, south jersey. it's going be a fast mover. late in the morning. 10:00 going to be out of the picture. enough heavy rain.

so here's where the rain is coming from. and it's going to continue kind of dropping down to the southeast. meaning this is going to spread into south jersey as well and the shore. areas like cape may county and delaware may miss out on most of the rain. and here's the good news. this rain that we see, it's passing a little steadier now in the lehigh valley, berks county, parts of chester county and a lighter rain over philly. it's not going to last the whole day. it's going to start clearing out by around 11:00 a.m. to noon. so the afternoon, things will be better. here's a closer look at the steadier rain. we go to areas like richmond and reading, you see a deeper green, that's a steadier rain. see the pockets of yellow, that's a more moderate rain falling through the lehigh valley and allentown into parts of bucks county, upper buckingham and milford. not going to last the whole day, but if you have morning plans, you will need the umbrella. a little heads up there. as for your temperatures, day don't warm a ton in the mo

we have rain mainly to the north and i know it is raining pretty good in santa rosa.ou can see the line going through ukiah which also had rain, and clearlake has rain. the line is moving into napa county, marin county and eventually down to san jose but by the time it does it will be weaker. in ukiah rain with lakeport, clearlake and cloverdale on the edge. by winter, hillsborough and middleton, and fairfax. some of the is not reaching the ground but using up the atmosphere -- juicing up the atmosphere. santa rosa at 19 100's, close i think with morning rain for santa rosa, and it looks like it could be a decent day on some of the totals. the forecast model going for 20 8/100 -- 28/100 and another forecast model shows 23/100. concord showing a quarter of an inch in of all of this verifies, it will be hiring one day then the entire month. there will be another system dipping to the north and that will keep it going in mendocino county and over to sacramento. a cooler pattern as this system moves through, and you can see the different the jet stream ushering in this co
