that was the warm weather, raj. this was the warmest weather in about 5 1/2 months for the bay area as temperatures averaged into the 80s for most of us. in fact, a neat little factoid here, san francisco usually never even averages in the 80s throughout the entire year. so this is a rare treat in the bay area. all right. let's get a look at some of these extremes we've had throughout 2011. there have been a lot of them. only six days of rain in january. we started off really dry. then february came, and we had sea-level snowflakes. then the past couple weeks we had three tornadoes in california, hail and of course the flash flooding in capitola. and here's some good news. those extremes that produced 10 to 15 feet across the sierra in terms of snowfall, it is now ended the drought. it is done at this point. the snow pack at the northern levels, 174% of average. so some good news coming out of these extremes. while we still continue to deal with that flooding cleanup in the south bay. 66 in sunnyvale. 64 livermore.
