janelle. >> yeah, raj. both pfizer's and moderna's large phase three trials have involved adults only. both vaccines showing about a 95% effective rate at protecting against the coronavirus. now these trials are expanding to children, and hospitals around the country are taking part, including kaiser permanente. kaiser specifically in santa clara and sacramento over the past few weeks have given pfizer's vaccine to 16 and 17-year-olds and will soon expand it to younger kids, ages 12 to 15. the overall goal is to test 2,000 teens and tweens to see if the vaccine is also just as effective in them. kaiser says it will release more details tomorrow about its vaccine trials so far. meantime, pfizer is moving ahead, asking the fda for emergency use authorization, which means frontline health care workers could be vaccinated in just weeks from now and the general public by spring of next year. so the big question is how will the vaccine get to all of us? also pfizer's vaccine is a little more complicated to transp
