i'm raj mathai. a lot happening on this wednesday. did san francisco get a green light to clear out those homeless camps? sort of. depending who you ask here that story is just a moment. let's start, though, with the sudden announcement in san jose. the largest water park in northern california is closing. raging waters in san jose is done for good. it's been a south bay staple for nearly four decades. a lot of families spending time there. the water park posted the news on social media and its website today, saying it would not open next year, and it thanks the community for all the wonderful memories. raging waters opened back in 1985. a spokesperson says the decision came after evaluating its business portfolio and that its lease with the city of san jose was up and decided not to renew the lease. right now it's not clear what will happen to the city-owned property there in east san jose. >> the reality is this is surprising, but parent company pellas entertainment who owns raging waters was on year 39 of a 40-year lease. while thi
