raleigh with 64 degrees today, atlanta 60. you can see where we've got a storm brewing up to bring us a disturbance because denver is 29, but you get to dallas, 76 degrees, really looking like spring, new orleans high temperature today 73 and look at brownsville, texas, 78. everybody is talking about how warm the gulf of mexico is and you can really see that when you look at some of those temperatures. we can see that when we look at the severe weather breaking out down there. first we'll look at local temperatures because while we have one spot down to the freezing mark which is frederick, just about everybody else at least into the mid-30s, if not low 40s, important to note because of the moisture that will come in our direction, but again while it looks a lot closer than it actually is, not much is hitting the ground yet because the air is pretty dry. it's going to be a few more hours. we'll probably have to wait for this batch to come through. this is coming across central kentucky and tennessee. that will likely be here f
