quantico, 66; fredericksburg, 64; yeah, party time in raleigh at 75. cape hatteras, 65 degrees and that is looking like spring. we got a real good socking yesterday in terms of rain and now today, that same storm system producing the snow for new england. that didn't get here and the clouds were just on the other side of the maryland- pennsylvania line. our next rainy system is going to be a bit of energy you see gathering here. it dives to the south and propels a cold front in our direction. so, we get a brief break today, we get a break for the first half of tomorrow and some more rain in here tomorrow night. the forecast, clear skies tonight. under the clear skies with the northwest wind, we get kind of chilly, 30s in the suburbs and that is keeping the cherry trees tightening the bloom here. 32 degrees for the district. tomorrow looks like we'll start out sunny and be above average, 51 degrees and the showers arrive in the late afternoon and our temperature is only 59 degrees and we'll keep that going into saturday, the first half of the day only,

the warm front is sneaking across the area and 67 degrees for raleigh. here is the temperature trend the next four days, up tomorrow at 65 degrees. factor in a breeze, it might not feel quite that warm but still a good drying day with a lot of sunshine, friday 56 degrees. most of the day should be dry. we will see showers later friday lingering into the first part of saturday. i think saturday starts wet. it's warm, too. we get up to 64 degrees and the rain should wind down late in the day saturday, maybe a thunderstorm there. sunday cooler at 53 and we drop into the 30s at night. we'll watch some late showers sunday and make sure a little bit of wet snow doesn't mix in with that, nothing that would cause problems but could create some interest. for tonight lingering showers, some fog possible a bit later, our temperature 48 degrees. winds fairly light in the overnight hours, but tomorrow during the day they pick up. so any fog left should be out of here and we'll become sunny and a warm day with that breeze, temperature 65 degrees. i think you're going
