you can see it extending into areas of norfolk and raleigh, north carolina. 50 degrees, our temperaturend is at 13. we had gusts up to 35 miles an hour. but you know what? it will be a breezy one throughout the evening and even a little bit of wind for early tomorrow morning with the temperature starting out at 38 to 37 degrees. with a little bit of wind still on for tomorrow morning. i do think that we're windchills that will be in the upper 20s to the low 30s. there we've got high pressure moving in. a breezy chilly evening for us. that high pressure will be with us tomorrow so we'll have sunshine throughout the day tomorrow. maybe a few high clouds around the coast. then as we get into thursday, more of that cool sunshine. and then the clouds down to the south. around areas of southeastern virginia. right along this weather front that's moving off the coast. an area of low pressure will develop and we'll see some cloud cover come back into the area. friday looking like it could be a mostly cloudy day with a one-daybreak on saturday with more sunshine before the next storm forms. that

i-95 running right through raleigh here. let's take a look at the risk of the storm system. by 3:00 this morning, this coastal storm giving us a very low impact. from i-95 toward the east. toward the west, almost no impact. may be 20 to 30 miles an hour. to the east of i-95, closer to the chesapeake. they could get between 40 and 50 miles an hour. we could see some tree damage. i'm not too worried about that. l a low impact, during the in our area. you have to go toward philadelphia and along the coast. you see that medium to high impact. the highest impact areas, the same areas that were affected by sandy. this could be another wallop. they don't want to see this storm coming through and it looks like they'll get hit pretty hard. for us, the greatest area, north and east of washington. what about snowfall? i do think we'll see some snow in parts of the region. some inland snow possible. isolated slick spots. coastal problems for everybody from the del marva. a few flurries possible, intermixed with shower activity. may be a dusting in these areas by early thursday morning.

raleigh is wet and earlier today, there is a little bit of snow trying to show up in the high spots of the mountains of north carolina. high wind watch. delaware all the way into southern new england to include boston where the winds along the coast could gust to 50, even 60 miles per hour. gusts could be 35 miles an hour. depending on where you are. watch what happens on the futurecast. you can see the clouds coming in. you can see the rain there coming at 6:00 a.m. then as the storm system makes its way north to northeast, that is rain, just grazing our area. so a chance of at least i-95 in areas east for maybe mixing with a little light snow as we get into wednesday night, early thursday morning. everything should be out of here. we've got that wind to contend with. not just for wednesday late but also for thursday morning. so it will be breezy sunshine coming back our way on thursday. high clouds, quite chilly. 38 to 44 degrees for the evening forecast tomorrow morning. breezy and cold. 27 to 35. those winds pick up during the afternoon so everybody gets touched with a little bit o
