mariana atenzio joins me now from raleigh, north carolina. give us a sense of the timeline here.hen d do we expect the vote to happen and what's going on where you are? >> hallie, under normal circumstances this vote was expected to come at 2:00 or 3:00 p.m. i am hearing from sourcesn the ground here that republicans are struggling to get the bill on the house floor. they caucused overnight into this morning and they are still having discussions as to the prospect of the bill under a new administration under a new attorney general. remember that the state of north carolina is currently being sued by the federal government and loretta lynch has equated this bill to racial segregation. but some of the house republicans don't live in swing districts. so they are not concerned as to the repercussions with their own constituents. now we do know that the number of votes needed in the house today is 53. so with 42 democratic house members the minimum number of republican votes needed is 11 in the house today. but a lot of high drama. even struggling to get that in the house at this poin
