on u.s. 64 east, going up towards the kind dale, winddale, area. 440 is a big issue, as well as raleigh pd, and just as you said, those overpasses and bridges people are coming across hitting the brakes, losing control, and there was one piece, i might kind of touch on, that you mentioned here, but a lot of times when people get involved in a collision, the first thing to do is get out and look at the vehicle. do that. what you could have is other vehicles careen out of control and strike individuals. if you're in that situation, try to get as far away from vehicles as possible, some first away until first responders can get there, mark the road clearly, increase in crashes, which leads to my final piece, bryan if you don't. the next couple hours at least until lunch, it's going to be touch and go. we don't anticipate this getting any better until the temperatures rise. >> all right, lieutenant gordon, we appreciate that and hope all the troopers are here this morning. if that's not enough to convince you, take a look at all of those accidents popping up. stay put if you can. back to you.

raleigh pd are responding to the man inside that truck, who i have tried to get on camera, is ok. he was coming across the bridge there, hit somebody, spun out, did not do a thing. he is remarkably unhurt. that is the man standing right there next to the man in the yellow jackets. they are looking at amazement at that truck. if you look directly behind that truck where all the flashing lights are, that is 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 cars. at least three across their. camera range. all these people hit the ice. video journalists first got here and we have been very careful as we have been telling you. feet, the ice was definitely treacherous. very slippery. if we had difficulty walking out here, you are looking at the results of what happened when that lucky man who was able to get out of that truck safely, hit some ice and there wasn't a thing he could do about it. he was trying to get to durham and that is the result. as far as we know, and we are still checking, as far as we know, nobody is hurt. that truck really made me think that the man inside had to be in a bad way. but he is standing in
