and then i remember -- so we were on-set and we showed up, and we showed up to ralph fiennes.off-book, and he presented to me, will, and our amazing director, mark mylod, exactly what he was going to do for his first four big monologues and he was completely off-book and i think -- i think you do know that feeling whenever you write something for someone. and then they're doing it exactly in the tone you thought they would do it and then they're also doing it 15 times better. >> seth: yeah. >> and it's like, ah >> seth: just elevating. >> yeah, yeah. >> seth: it's the greatest gift a writer could get >> an amazing thing for the director and for the crew where he would kind of do it five takes of it, which was the agreed upon, that's what we probably are going to go with. but then he'd give you just for the edit, a fast one, a slow one, a more intense one, a funnier one, a looser one. >> yeah, and i would say every actor we had - they were such a group of smart actors and they knew the tone of the movie completely so, there --it was always great. and each take they just made it
