it was actually her former boss, ralph nader who suggested when he found out she passed away that i create some kind of award, fun, something for subject she cared about. what that was a great idea i spoke with my children adam and hope. they thought it was something we should do and it occurred to main we ought to create an award for book reviewing. there are very few journalism awards for book reviewing. none really for nonfiction public w affairs based books. which is the coolest passion. hans also took us a little while supposed together friends and family across the country pitched in to provide the funds we needed to get this thing going. we've been doing it now three years running. part tell us a little bit more about kuklula's work. >> she and i were married for 31 years when we were married she was working for public tv. to the journalism major and immigrant from india. she is a a brilliant woman witha wonderful sense of language. a passion for politics, history, she basically took over the editing of the book review section and built herself a stable of writers who loved working
