( darya ) a south bay motorcyclist is recovering after a woman crashed into him on higway 17 as he was headed towards santa cruz. kyle de preist says the driver hit him hard enough he flew across the median divider into oncoming traffic. de preist says he was riding his harley southbound in los gatos a few hundred feet from the cats bar when he was struck and thrown from his bike. witnesses came to help him into a pickup truck where he waited for an ambulance. but de preist is still looking for the driver who hit him..who brefly checked on him and left the scene.
