it's very important for the industry. >> randall stephenson talked about how the spectrum prices, as they call it, is creating all kinds of problems. as a result he says at&t has had to raise prices for consumers. they did just last month. he says this is a direct result of the idea there's a limited amount to go around. there's no other way to get it. they've been incredibly frustrated by what's hapd in wa washington and if you read through on all of that you get the idea that while the fcc stopped this deal because they were looking out for what they said was the consumer, his point is consumers paid more for this because this deal didn't go through. now we'll have more from mr. stephenson later in the program. he also talked about what they hope happens down the road and, andrew, some of the things that have come out of washington that could be problematic. he will talk more about that when we have more from him just a little later in the program. >> becky, did he talk at all -- did he regret pursuing the deal? did he say i had to do the deal and i'm happy that we tried? did he sa
