cnn's randi kaye was at the courthouse early saturday and explains how police and other agencies plane. >> reporter: it's really all hands on deck, as far as the security effort here ahead of the former president's arraignment here at the federal courthouse in miami. securing the scene will really start with the moment he leaves whichever of his properties he's staying sat, ahead of his arraignment monday night. i'm told by my law enforcement sources they will probably have an exclusive route reserved for some of the roadways for the former president and miss motorcade. it's really a coordinated effort between miami police working on those road closures and detours, and the secret service looking after donald trump and the fbi and sorry officials involved as well. as far as a perimeter, there is a perimeter around the court to make sure protesters don't get too close to the courthouse as well. as far as the threat assessment done here at the miami courthouse, they did find no credible threats, so that was certainly good news. and they're going to continue to monitor all of this. they'

randi kaye is there. you were inside the resort. we're looking at the pictures now. what are you seeing so far this morning? >> we were inside doral when the former president arrived yesterday. and we were there when he came down to have dinner in the main restaurant at the resort. we got video of him greeting supporters. he was taking pictures. he paudzed and did some of that. they were yelling, we support you. he went into the restaurant with dinner. his son, eric trump, was waiting for him. saw him earlier in the day. we understand from sources that he was joined at dinner by his co-defendant, walt nauta and some of the of thtop advisers. his mood seemed to be upbeat. he seemed to be cheery considering what an important day and significant day this is for him today. we know he will leave here about 1:0 this amfternoon. it's a 20-minute drive to the courthouse. we heard from the doral police chief, keeping a close eye on things not only here at trump doral and at the miami federal courthouse. he doesn't have any major concerns about safety. listen to this. >> we've

cnn's zach cohen, and randi kaye are following all the details for us today, zach, let's go to you first, trump is now the first former president ever charged with crimes in federal court. so, how potentially damning is the evidence against him? >> reporter: fredricka, those photos you were just showing speak to the level of detail in this indictment where prosecutors are accusing the former president of not only retaining highly sensitive documents that after leaving office that he was not supposed to keep, but then resisting when the government tried to get those documents back. now, 31 of the 37 counts laid out in this indictment related to trump are about retaining what's known as national defense information. the indictment lays out very clearly what this means, this information relates to u.s. nuclear programs, defense and weapons capabilities, potential vulnerabilities the u.s. has to attack. so really some of the most highly sensitive, and highly guarded u.s. secrets were found at trump's mar-a-lago resort. now, the photos are not only a great illustration of what trump took, but

randi kaye is actually in the versailles cafe right now. randy, what are you seeing? >> reporter: i am at versailles cuban restaurant in little havana. and there is such a crowd here, the motorcade has just arrived from federal court in miami. and this was an unannounced visit. >> so -- >> that is the crowd cheering. if you could hear me over them. there is just dozens of people here all with their phones all waiting for a glimpse of the former president. this is a very, very popular community restaurant in the cuban community. it has been here since 1971. this is a place where almost every presidential candidate comes. for the last few decades to reap the cuban vote. these people are very excited. we're talking to some of them off camera that he may be making a stop here today. and they are in full support of him. they don't buy the indictment. they don't believe it. and they just think he's a great businessman and a strong man and that is why they are supporting him. but the scene here, the entire road is closed off. there are dozens of police and secret service and
