he lie bureau reporter randy gyllenhaal reports. this is a huge fight. what happened out there? >> 100 maybe even 200 students, and police tell us four of their officers were injured in this brawl that took place outside of allen high school in the city of adentown. they were responding to this large group of students who detectives say were actually fighting in the street. they responded to this call. and this cell phone video was posted to social media today. you can see the melee happening just as school got out. a lot of the students were wearing backpacks. police tried to break the fight up. but sources say the officer quickly became the targets of these students. police tell us the officers were attacked, two of them had minor injuries, two other allentown police officers had more serious injuries. at one point a female officer was actually taken to the ground and a teenager began hitting her. take a look. >> [ bleep ]. >> reporter: so police are telling us that three juveniles were taken into custody and charged in this fight. they're hopes to find other videos posted to

nbc 10's randy gyllenhaal was there at city hall for the news conference and nbc 10 reese monique braxton will have a closer look at ramsey's career, his accomplishments and disappointments but let's begin with randy at city hall. randy? >> reporter: chuck, ramsey in his eighth year as police commissioner announced he will be stepping down in early january. he tells us this decision was entirely personal, not political, related to the upcoming election for the mayor this coming november. he was flanked by the mayor and a number of other city officials who credited him with the historic drop in the city's crime rate over the past eight years. now, ramsey has worked in law enforcement for 47 years with stops in chicago and washington. during his tenure here in philadelphia. officials say the homicide rate dropped by more than 30%. ramsey was also a key figure in getting the department of justice to issue reforms on the city's police department. but his time here was not without heart break. eight police officers were killed in the line of duty, and today the commissioner had a message for t

randy gyllenhaal is live from ocean city. randy, it will get worse, too, with the high tide. >> reporter: keith, that's the concern. high tide will be at its peak in about an hour or sew. you see the winds are the problem. these trees were knocked down by the heavy winds. they're working to clear it right now. and it's blowing seawater into people's homes. as the tide continues to go up, more of that water gets blown into neighborhoods. to navigate some neighborhoods down the shore, you need a truck like this to get around. water so deep it closed roads and turned vacation homes into islands. >> this is ocean city, new jersey, and we have a river running right through our front yard as you can see. >> reporter: the heavy winds were the real problem, taking seawater from the bay and the ocean and dumping it into backyards and residential streets. here in north wildwood the flooding is extreme. over here, this is the back bay where all the boats and the jet skis are. and if you look over here, all of that water is bleeding into

randy gyllenhaal is watching as high tide approaches. but first brittany is here with the warnings still in effect at the shore. >> we still have the coastal flood warning in effect until tomorrow at 6:00 p.m. all the beaches there, along the shore, cape may, to thoms river. the main concern is over the next couple of hours, as we get closer to high tide, that happens typically around 1:00 a.m., and once again by 2:00 p.m. on sunday. we're also watching for beach erosion and street flooding in the area. this is all due to a strong onshore flow, the wind direction causing all the problems here. it's moving in from the north and east. wind gusts up to about 36 miles per hour in atlantic city and 35 miles per hour in georgetown. we'll continue to see these strong winds even as we head into tomorrow. our radar shot shows at least gradually improving. we have a few scattered showers outside of burlington county. it starts to dry out as we head into the second half of your weekend. a closer look at the temperatures. by the time you wake up on
