. >> and joining me now with the very latest from los angeles, randy kay. , correspondent for "inside edition" and james walker joining us as well. randy, let me start with you. i know you have brand new information to share about the searches carried out at conrad murray's offices. what can you tell us? >> campbell, as you know, the searches were carried out earlier this week. one at his home in las vegas. the other at his clinic in las vegas. and the search warrants were filed today. i can tell that you according to the search warrant, detectives were looking for evidence "demonstrating crimes of excessive prescribing and prescribing to an addict" plus, "evidence of manslaughter." the addict, they seem to be referring to in this case is michael jackson. something else that is key here, that it shows that according to the search warrant, they are looking for records related to the order, delivery and storage of propofol. the powerful sedative that authorities believe killed michael jackson. what they take? they took hard drive images. they took one hard dri

randy kay has more. >> reporter: we have a copy of the search warrant issued in los angeles for dr. conrad murray's home and office. it states it is looking for evidence of demonstrating crimes of excess, prescribing to an addict and manslaughter. the addict in this case, apparently yankee michael jackson. the search warrant says they were looking for prescriptions and information on when medications were administered, sold, transferred, administered and sealed including diprivan which authorities believe killed michael jackson and which we know from a source dr. murray gave him within 24 hours of his death. they seize five hard drive images, iphone and records and a key piece of evidence is a cd with the name omar arnold on it. detectives seized that and i confirmed with a source close to the investigation that jackson used the name to obtain prescription drugs and get procedures done without anyone knowing. now we used his name an we know a doctored with that name was taken from his clinic in vegas. that's something investigators will no doubt look at. authorities believe michael

randy kay joins us. randy? source close to michael jackson's family with knowledge of the investigation tell cnn that jackson's personal physician administered the powerful drug that investigators believe killed him. the drug is known by the brand nape diprivan. it is also known as propofol. jackson's doctor gave it to him within 24 hours of his death. this is significant. conrad murray's lawyer never commented on the drug. all the lawyer has told us in the past was "dr. conrad murray did not prescribe or administer anything that should have killed michael jackson." this is the first time he was connected to propofol. we know he was at jackson's home the day he suffered cardiac arrest. that was june 25th. his lawyer has said he gave him cpr and tried to revive him. >> there were reports that propofol was found at jackson's home as well. >> numerous reports of propofol at his home. his sister la toya said she saw an iv stand in his bedroom. propofol is only supposed to be used in a hospital setting. it is a very
