we have flood warnings still in effect for parts of fauquier, cull pep per and rappahannock county in effect for the next couple of hours if they are not extended. we have really two issues right here. we have one, thisntense area of thunderstorm activity down in st. mary's county, and altho nh it might be showing the most hook echo or something that we look at to a indicat tornado, what we're really noticing is the amount of lightning with this thunderstorm, especially with how quickly it developed across the area. that's just because theracking is on. with how quickly it developed across the area. when you see the lightning pick up that much in that quick of a time, that can cause the national weatherce servi alone to issue a tornado warning. you can see that now we're starting to see this push off to the east. east of chaptico and mechanicsville. if you're into parts of calvert county, play it safe and get indoors. if you're around mechanicsville or chtico, you're under tornado warning for another 10 minutes. a tornado warning for parts of st. mary's county until 4 sack i -- until
