rashad did give him a call .. in fact, he started going to church together, hung out together and actually tried to disciple him into following christ and teach him how to make some good decisions. rashad tried making good decisions .. but soon fell back into old habits .. like selling drugs on the streets. at 20-years-old .. he was heading jail again .. this time .. for two years behind bars. i wanted to change my life, better my life, so when i got out in 2012 i reconnected with pastor king. i called him i was like do you remember me. the two connected yet again .. laying the ground work for a friendship .. that continues today. it was some time later after he had put his faith in christ and after he had spent some time in jail that he really turned his life over to the lord and we reconnected and we've been serving together kind of ever since. serving together .. in the same place rashad served time. on sunday nights .. these two along with other volunteers .. stand before troubled teens and give their i don't
