look at the distinguished list of past speakers, justice kennedy, justice thomas, my colleague ray randolph, my former colleague judge janice rogers brown whom i miss greatly. i will admit that i've not been a regular attendee at the story lecture for the last two years because, as john malcolm of heritage knows, every year it seems to fall on the same night as basketball tryouts for the cyl girls basketball team i cochaired blessed sacrament school in d.c. this year i finally pulled rank and seniority and i moved the teams tryouts back tonight. so tonight i am with you. last night i was trying with limited success to get 47 -fifth and sixth grade girls to listen to me.
