lady razorbacks. i don't know a lot about them. an upcoming sport that's new in the area? >> yes, men's rugby is established, but women's rugby is a growing area. the lady razorbacks is a part in that growth -- is a part in that growth. >> it is always difficult for the female teams breaking into traditional male sports. >> yes, it is very difficult. many of the women on the team are from the pacific islander backgrounds. so rugby is a very popular sport in those cultures, but very traditional. these women, they are really breaking new grounds. and when i first, when i went to their first practice, i was just struck by how much fun they had and what a sense of area this was on the field. >> we are looking at film clips from your film right now. are you a rugby player too? >> i have played some rugby in my time, yes. i know how physically demanding it is. >> you had to do this for a class project, why did you choose them? why focus on them? >> sometimes it happens with documentaries. i had an idea i was so excited about. working so hard to make it happen and it fell apart.
