i was endorsed by the connecticut realtors association , 17,000 realtors. we did a debate. they liked my plan to get property values up, and that is going to raise property taxes and get the cities moving again. anne: thank you so much. mr. griebel, 90 seconds. mr. griebel: thank you. i am a believer in the personal income tax. it is the workhorse tax of the state and generate $10.5 billion. we would like to get rate down over time, absolutely. 200,000 more people working in the state over 10 years will allow that to happen, but it is the least regressive of all taxes. none of us want to be taxed. do not tax me, you, the person behind the tree. none of us want to pay taxes, but it is the least regressive, joe. noteed to make sure we do lower the property income taxed so those taxes get transferred into the municipality. there is no free lunch here. touching the third rail, looking at regional liberty municipal services, i am not a fan of giving municipality an additional taxing authority. i think it will send the wrong signal to the private sector, residents and employers.
