rebecca babin. good to talk to you, particularly on a day like today, were a lot of us are scratching our heads, trying to figure out, how does one million barrels of day -- million barrels a day of oil depress oil prices, and more importantly, how does it depress gas prices? rebecca: i think that is the right question. the answer is, it doesn't. what it does is, it removes that outsized tail event where we get a spike to $150 in summer driving season, but it does not actually meaningfully move prices lower over the short and medium-term. why? because it does not offset what we are losing from russia, potentially. it also sends three very important signals to the markets that are bullish. one, russia-ukraine is going to last longer than we thought, so those barrels are going to be off longer than anticipated. two, the ironic deal -- iran deal not likely to come to fruition. three, opec-plus not listening to us. it is very reluctant to add barrels back to the market, and that is not a policy i think

rebecca, how has the war in rebecca impacted investors ability to invest in russian security? are in unprecedented times right now with the moscow exchange being shut for what is going on three weeks now. it will continue to be closed for an unknown amount of time. many investors were turning to russian etf to use as a proxy, to trade, even though the moscow exchange was closed. so the last russian etf remaining is listed on the japan exchange and it is the next fund russia linked etf. the last day of trading will be on wednesday. so for investors that were using russian etf as a proxy to access the russian market, while moscow exchange was closed, this will no longer be available from thursday onwards. so with etf's being halted, many investors will have to look for other funds, whether that be emerging markets or futures. and they're going to be a lot harder for investors to gauge where the market is trading now. rishaad: rebecca, what is the impact of removing russia from indexes on funds? and i suppose the question is will they be added back in later? rebecca: so russia re
