kron 4's rebecca strom is here rebecca?right marty, this fire is burning south of lower lake and is now at 400- acres. this is new video of that fire room. evacuations are now in place for ellen springs, clayton cree, highway 53 to dam road and morgan valley road. set up at the highlands senior center in clearlake as well. >> rebecca: that fire is 15-percent contained. lake county is all too familiar to wildfires. the 'valley fire' broke out last september. killing four people and destroying close to two thousand structures. the valley fire is considered california's third worst fire in history. and just this past week. the cause of the fire was released. investigators say the fire was caused by faulty wiring for a hot tub. cal fire says the homeowner admitted that he installed that circuit himself. according to the press democrat this homeowner is challenging the findings. we are also keeping our eye on several other wildfires burning across the state. cal-fire has made major progress on a brushfire burning near morgan hil

rebecca strom is here now with the latest on that baby's condition. the baby doing today? >> rebecca:marty i've got great news to share with you and everyone else. doctor's at valley medical center have recently upgraded the baby's status from critical to serious. and we now have a picture of the baby. his name is christopher. he was born two months premature. as you mentioned a second ago marty, his mother, dulce capetillo died in a car accident on her way home from work. she was rushed to the hospital and later died during surgery. the family is now trying to raise money for baby christopher's medical bills. >> rebecca:this story is gaining a lot of attention on social media as well. we posted the picture of baby christopher to our kron 4 facebook page last night. here is some of your reactions to this this story. amanda n. says i am so happy the baby is improving. thanks to all those doctors and nurses working around the clock to save him. thanks for everything you do! and a comment from someone who claims to be capetillo's friend, ashley m. says i
