the goal is not to be 75% recs in year 10 or 20. the goal is to getting to commissioner arce's green deal. it might not be as quick as some people want, but to start building it and owning our own generation which is coming more and more from that bucket 1 although to some degree the city does depend a lot on large hydro through hetch hetchy. that is not considered state renewable. any hetch hetchy we are able to roll you have to put a rec on top of t. but i don't think a single person at least from the government perspective would say that that's not a good source of energy for us to be using and that requires recs. shell looking to figure out how do we bring in some other types of hydro into our mix and putting recs on top of it. that is all greenhouse gas free. some people, there are some environmental groups out there that will debate whether or not that is or not. but i also wanted to talk about the financing of the buildout. as to why we can't go out and buildout all these things. it's about financing. we need to get customers

recs, as you know, supervisor, are like certificates. they can be traded from one wall street speculator to another. they derive their value from commodity trading just like stocks. by the time those recs reach our community choice aggregation program, their environmental benefits are far removed. we're not even sure whether we can achieve any greenhouse gas savings from recs. we'd be dependent upon shell oil to help us reach our city's climate goals. and this certainly doesn't help reduce greenhouse gas emissions here in san francisco. this is all to say the public utilities commission did its job, protecting the rate payers when it made a fair and informed decision that the environmental benefits of cca had degraded so significantly. supervisor, that's not defying the board of supervisors. in fact, the city attorney, dennis herrera's office [speaker not understood] that the commission is authorized, not required or compelled, but authorized to set rates for community choice aggregation. so, the public utilities commission took a look a

the lease is with the department of rec and park. just want to hit on a couple key points. this is absolutely a temporary relocation, a wonderful facility, neighborhood it is. we don't intend to or want to be there very long. we're only there because we have to. the project as i said is no new construction. we are using the building as-is, as provided by the exploratorium use. academy of arts i think painted it and did a few things. our lease is for 11 months as we said. we are using the exploratorium classrooms as they are in their currents condition. the building has been inspected extensively by the fire marshal before our occupancy. as we know, the house of fine arts for over 30 years ha provided educational and other enrichment opportunities focused on children. through the exploratorium. the building has a legal capacity of about -- in the space of the town school for boys has in our lease with rec and park, that capacity is for about 1200 people. the use as i said is primarily children, but the capacity is 1200 people. while we would have liked to have kept jackson s

the woman was run over by a rec and park department maintenance truck thursday afternoon sun bathing on the grass at holly park with her baby and dog. police identified the worker as a 57-year-old tom burnoski. witnesses told police he drove of off without stopping. police took him into custody. many neighbors we spoke to said workers often drove recklessly on to grassy areas. including this box february 26th she went to the web site and filed this complaint that said, park maintenance workers who clean bath rooms drive their trucks, vans through the park on pedestrian paths they do this in the dark and visibility is not good due to bushes, hedges and some workers drive far too fast. on friday, the day after the fatal accident, bonnefield took a screen shot showing complaints filed hers was 1454 it read her complaint was still open, not resolved. her page show nod response from her complaint. she checked again yesterday and discovered to her surprise, that her page now read "closed". park as dressed meaning the complaint resulted in a result. whatever that action was took place march
