recology service them. every garbage can is to be serviced a minimum of one time a day some of them up to three times a day in the high traffic areas. we also work with a nonprofit to do a monthly steam cleaning of every trash can in the city . so all 2800 and we want to make sure that they're kept in good shape and i'll go into details a little later about how the trash cans are abused in san francisco. and then we also have to keep making sure that we have cans that are workable in the streets. >> so i want to go a little bit with the next slide of where our impound account funding is going. we get about $12.5 million a year so it goes in order of the amount litter patrol again those are the folks who respond to 311 requests and clean up trash in the street gets the bulk of that and then the outreach and enforcement team mechanical sweeping etc. trash can maintenance is the lowest portion of it but really an important one. a lot of things that people are paying close attention to. so where does that money
