state fire officials issued a red flag warning this afternoon. that means fire danger is high, plus there's another spare the air alert for tomorrow. that's the 22nd warning in the past two months. here's a live look outside at downtown san jose. you can see the brown sky there. meteorologist anthony slaughter joins us. when will we see winter-like weather out there? >> it's not on the horizon any time soon. things continue to remain dry all the way through 2013. but i want to bring your attention to why it's been so hazy over the past month or so. an area of high pressure over the bay area. that creates a lid. when you get spare the air warnings, you have to have high pressure aloft and you also have to have calm winds at the valley floor. that's what we're looking at. and a lot of that calming of the wind allows for the pollution to get trapped. because of that we're talking about another spare the air alert for tomorrow. categories in the unhealthy levels. here's the other thing you have to have for a red flag warning, strong winds. they kind
