reddit definitely is full of horrible things.don't get me wrong, but it is also filled with unique and specific and nuanced communities around different topics. so whether you're trying to find, you know, sort of accurate information about illegal substances, or you want to engage with other people in your regional or local community, or, you know, really niche topic, reddit is such a great place for this because it allows individual moderators to volunteer and moderate different sub reddits with different approaches to how they do that. like illegal drugs is one of my interests on this just in the ways that platforms approach it. i will use this example. for example, if you want to learn about a specific substance, there's often multiple communities with multiple different moderation structures. some might only allow you to talk about things within a legal framework. others might allow you to share personal experiences. you can choose which one you want to take part in. users up vote and down vote what content is, you know, appr
