we do have a couple of sprinkles around redwood city on over to union city and then around hollisterhe central coast. but all in all, we're pretty done with it for a minute. low pressure system anchored to our north continues to drag in with it. some really cold air our direction. why we've seen such low elevation snowfall and significant snow pack achievement. that changes, though, because we're replacing this cold arctic air with the resurgence of tropical moisture along with an atmospheric river. so this gets dragged in from the central pacific and plunges right into the bay area come thursday into friday. the problem here is not the rain for the bay area, but rain, higher elevations in the sierra on areas that have been seeing snow. this is going to wash away a lot of that snow pack feet of snow pack. we've been accumulating and results in the potential of flooding towards friday, saturday and sunday in those areas in those higher elevations. so that is the concern here in just a couple of days. as for today, we've got dry conditions. couple of sprinkles possible in the north bay

i want to take it more video we have along the peninsula and this here in redwood city you do see the downed power lines, even a light pole down and pg&e crews did you see some of the mess all of the wind created. when it comes to the downed trees it felt like crews could barely keep up. there would be cones by the downed trees and so many tree branches on the roadways. there's also an electrical fire on el camino and rosedale involving downed power lines that burned a newly installed residential fence firefighters put out new fires at the spot as the electricity came back on >> throughout the day it was getting smaller and bigger and about one hour later you can hear the electricity sparking. and shocks were flying everywhere. at one time the electrical cord was hissing and making like an s in the air. obviously scary situations for a lot of people throughout the peninsula and the bay area. we mentioned the power outages, we have been looking at the power outage map. if you zoom in to your specific area it will give you an estimated time of restoration. a lot of the areas say there w
