and finally, we go to redwood city. and when you take a look at the aftermath of a fierce fire in a neighborhood there. now, at the height of this fire, thick black smoke could be seen for miles all along the peninsula. and at the scene where this blaze first ignited, huge clouds of smoke billowing from at least two homes that were destroyed. and tonight, residents are taking inventory of what's been lost. our jesse gary has been there at the scene since this fire first broke out earlier today, and joins us now live with an update. jesse >> heather. right now, redwood fire fire officials have removed the bulk of their equipment, and they are in mop up operations. there are upwards of 74 pg e customers that are without power at this hour, and they will be until fire officials give the all clear to pg and e so they can go in and effect repairs. as heather said, there are residents here taking inventory of their property and pets after a destructive fire that produced multiple explosions even before first responders arrive
