i'm reed cowan. that scene is playing out as teachers picket outside the construction site. that is part of an administrative building at the cold campus. protesters were there bright and early and marched in circles in front of the entrance and this contractor's truck so this guy going to work had to inch his truck toward the protesters. that led to a stand off. he got out of the truck and didn't get through the lot. teachers say the district should not be spending money on this particular building. >> they are spending $57 million on this project and at the same time we have crumbling facilities in our schools and we are a number of schools, leaky sewage, roofs falling apart. it's ironic. >> so, because that building is really the place they want to make their point, we found the division of state architect are involved in the construction of that site. we are reaching out for a response. we haven't heard from them. this is where the district says the teacher's union is demanding too much as part of their contract. this is the sticking point. the common good proposals. ous
