i'm reena ninan. we begin with a possible break into the investigation of the crash of egyptair flight 804. sources in the u.s. and egypt tell cbs news the plane's flight data recorders, or black boxes, have been located but not yet retrieved in the area where wreckage from the plane has turned up. conflicting reports say the devices have not been located. the plane went down thursday, killing all 66 people on board. holly williams is in alexandria, egypt. >> reporter: the first images of debris from egyptair flight 804 show the plane's wreckage-- a life vest and luggage. egyptian authorities say human remains were also found in the several area in the southern mediterranean sea, where they're still looking for more wreckage and the bodies of those who were on board. the plane's flight recorders, or sold black boxes, could help answer what happened on the passenger jet with recordings from the cockpit in the minutes before the plane crashed. phillip balm is the editor of aviation magazine. >> presumab
