>> reporter: hi, reggie. police just wrapped up a press conference detailing what happened here at this facility at 3:00 this morning in santa rosa. we're on northpoint parkway. it's still roped off with crime tape. police say two men tried to rob this facility but they had a gun and there were two employees inside. the employees were able to trigger an alarm and police interrupted the crime. officers say one man ran, but they chased him. they say he aimed his gun at police so police shot at him. one resident of santa rosa showed us where one bullet ended up, in her living room, in her television. no one in the home was hurt. police did take both suspects into custody. the one who was shot is expected to survive. >> one of them is at the hospital, still receiving medical care so we've been unable to interview him. tere is one suspect here at the station that's being interviewed now and we're working to confirm his identity. >> reporter: the two employees are okay. they hid in a walk-in safe. so, they're all r

>> reporter: good morning, jessica and reggie. we got an update from the san jose police department and they confirmed that two people did die in this crash here on casselin o drive in san jose. you can see that tow truck drivers are on the scene. they pulled the car up from the hillside and are now sweeping off the debris. we also heard from san jose police that alcohol and marijuana are suspected to be a factor in this crash. here's video from earlier this morning. san jose police say a honda accord was headed eastbound on casselino drive. it was a violent crash that the en jing separated from the car. the adult male driver and female passenger died at the scene. another female passenger was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. another man was taken to the hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries. their identities are not being released at the time. two dogs were inside the car at the time of the crash. one dog did die at the scene and we assume as soon as the tow truck drivers get all the debris up from the r

>> reporter: good morning, reggie. stran police still have the crime scene tape up blocking it off on 21st street, you can see that the crime scene unit is. behind that, there's a spotlight on the scene of this officer involved shooting while they continue their investigation this morning. a neighbor told us what he heard and saw last night. >> i've heard gunshots before in the neighborhood. i can't imagine it was less than 20. it was like it lasted for i while and it was -- then i came out to see what was going on. >> this is what he saw at about 10:45 last night. a huge police presence. officers were flagged down in their patrol cars by two armed robbery victims. they told officers the suspects were driving a black honda civic. the officers spotted that car on capp street between 21st and 22nd streets and ordered the suspects out of the car. the driver was detained. they noticed the trunk was open and saw a secretaond suspect in trunk. the suspect in the trunk died at the scene. officers found a handgun in the trunk.
