we caught up with the head of the rehoboth beach patrol this morning who made the call to ban swimming. most lifeguards will be done for the season starting tomorrow. >>> the impact from the storm could linger for a few more days at the shore. nbc 10 first alert meteorologist sheena par convenient is here now with the latest. sheena? >> yeah, jacqueline, hermine still remaining very far offshore and the newest track continues to mainly bring it up to new england so i think this will mostly be a storm for new england now, but it is expected to weaken and still very far away from us. it will still be increasing our rip currents as we go through tonight and tomorrow. so here's a look at hermine, right. the center is where you see the "l" so it's still very far offshore and notice it's gotten closer. the cloud cover has gotten closer and the rain closer and still offshore and now we're putting it motion. rain bands spinning offshore and staying offshore. cloud cover more into our coastal areas and the delaware beaches today. not so much inland so it has continued to be a nice day inland. w

now this is cumberland farms in rehoboth near route 44 and 118. we farms in they say just after 7:00 this morning. suspect went into the star and threatened one of the employees. what that threat was we don't know. or what brought it about is still unclear. we do know that all of the employees did manage to get out of the store safely. right now it's only the police and that suspect who very on scene. we're hearing that, that suspect threatened to blowup the cumberland farms. however according to the store they tell us that all of the gas again taking a look here. you can see no traffic is allowed through. there's a lot of stores here within this trip of area where the whole entire neighborhood had been block off. those stores have closed for the day or trying to shuffle around other appointment. we know that some of the cumberland farm employee are close by but can't talk about what happened inside. we're can't to follow the story and bring you the latest information as we get it. for now that's the latest live in rehoboth, nicole oliverio. 7news

atlantic city, rehoboth beach, in between, closer to 11:00 in the morning monday. then every 12 hours after that the high tide. sunday and monday so far it looks like the two main days we'll be watching for the highest threat for possibly moderate to major flooding. minor tidal flooding starting saturday, getting worse sunday and monday. main concern in the back bay is because the flooding may not be able to recede in the back bay. it's like a bathtub there. the delaware river and the delaware bay flooding also possible. tidal flooding saturday, sunday and monday. we'll be watching that very closely. here's a look at the futurecast here. the cutoff with the heavy rain. if this storm moves a little bit farther offshore, then it will take the heavy rain with it. if it stays a little bit closer to land, the heavier rain will be farther inland. eventually starting to move away as we go just past labor day. here's your labor day weekend forecast. gusty winds especially delaware and new jersey saturday and sunday. we had to lower the temperatures because of the onshore w
