we looked at rehoboth beach about an hour ago from the same camera, and we had more sunshine. ahead of the weekend thunderstorms. if you are heading to the delaware beaches, or the jersey shore this weekend, just keep in mind we have storms mostly later in the afternoon. still pretty nice if you are heading that direction. if you look at the seven-day at the bottom of your screen, you'll see saturday and sunday, two very different days in the forecast. we'll show you the tirming of the rain in just a second. 83 in philadelphia. a lot of cloud cover there. but no rain. and temperatures are in the upper 70s. south jersey neighborhoods around 80. that extends to the shore. cape may point coming in 78 degrees right now. woodbine 83. mays landing 81 degrees. atlantic city coming in 76 degrees. the wind direction today is more from the south. so if you felt the humidity, it's up just a tad. as we go into tomorrow, the south wind will increase the humidity even more. so you will definitely notice it as we go into your saturday. here's a look at the radar, satellite and radar. no rain

rehoboth beach come in at 80 degrees. 78 dewy beach with more of an onshore wind right now, so the onshored really dropping the temperatures pretty quickly, and they will drop big time as we go into the end of this week until we get there. we'll stay around 90. nice and dry locally. again no rain until we go into thursday, but we are watching two tropical systems. now, we don't expect rain from either one of these, but we do expect it to be increasing our rip current threat at the shore and the delaware beaches, so this shows you the areas. we're talking about the beaches in sussex county. we're talking about cape may county, atlantic county and ocean county. there's a beach hazard statement, so from about tomorrow through possibly your labor day weekend and, again, we'll be watching two tropical systems that are causing this, we could be seeing potentially a moderate risk for dangerous rip currents. again, as we get closer to the weekend we'll have a better idea on how high the risk is. either way be very cautious. heading into the water we do expect the rip current risk to be out there.
