before the mayors come on stage, we have a pregame with reid epstein, one of politico's rising stars. he's been in both the romney and obama bubbles. he's @reidepstein. he came to us from newsday before that. he's also interned at the wall street journal. and he worked at the hometown of peoria, illinois. thank you so much for coming out. have a seat. the hot seat. you were our first romney reporter in the cycle. just been out with president obama. how are the bubbles? >> you know, mike. the romney organization sort of as a whole doesn't mind hiding what they think about reporters. they're much more aggressive, sort of personally about pushing back people both on the bus, on the phone, at events, whereas the obama campaign bends over backwards as having an aura of being nice to people. >> the suggestion is they feel the same way. >> of course they feel the same way about us. i found for me at the end of the day, no matter how the romney folks sort of treated you, you know, you could talk to them and you could get them to sort of go off the talking points. that campaign was pushing. wh
