where do people like reince priebus start when there is no real definition of republican leaders that are emerging right now? >> well, it really goes back to what do you believe? and if you believe what you believe are you willing to compromise to bring people of color, to bring gays and lesbians, to bring women over to your side? what the republican party has a problem with right now, it is not about the messaging. they know what they believe and what they think. the problem is that the other side, and the vast majority of people out there don't agree with that message. and so the question then becomes whether or not you're willing to moderate your message and/or change your policy positions to bring people, new people to the fold. this is the main problem that democrats have quite frankly in the late 19 # 0s, early 1990s when bill clinton came in and said we are way too left and have to moderate our positions and that is where the democratic leadership council came in. there are a lot of democrats that were very upset with bill clinton during the late '80s and early '90s. they obvio

we'll talk about reince prebus gets to keep his job, and that and much more. first let's to lisa ferguson. >> hey, john. good morning, everyone. president obama is on his way to cambodia. his first stop over the weekend was thailand and late last night, president obama became the first bt to ever visit mee you mar. he met with the national league of democracy there along with secretary of state hilary clinton. he spoke with the president and said his trip is not an endorsement of the new government, which is in the middle of a transition to democracy, but he did praise the country for shaking off its military rule and press the government for more reform. obviously we're having a little bit of technical problems, but the president said the steps the president has taken for release of the prisoners and his commitment to work with the u.s. on human rights dialogue will unlease the incredible potential of that beautiful country. this is obama's first trip overseas since his reelection shows he is serious about shifting america's focus leastward. the two are conti
