about this for a long time and i guess i'll start by thanking the staff and particularly director reiskin, this is i think something i was addressing since the day you came on board and you have always been very good about listening very good about planing and very methodical about putting this idea, i realize this tames time, so in addition to thanking your staff, i'll thank you personally, yu eve been a huge help in this whole process and i'm personally grateful to it. i recognize this is a first step of things to come ombacker on market street but i recognize this is a first step that's geared towards promoting safety, particularly pedestrian safety and i think that's a goal that we all share as well as bicycle safety and really frankly at the end of the day, safety for everyone because accidents affect everyone. there are additional benefits to this as we've talked about and one of the additional benefits that i hope to see with this and future market street projects is obviously the increase for liability of transit as you and i have talked about many times i would like to see the ab
