this is right around the remington area. if you live in remington, you want to stay inside. indications of larger hail, too, as it's making its way to the north and east. prompted flash flood warning for prince william county including the city of punases right through the 7:45 hour. this is going to be a scenario that plays out, most likely, not only all evening long, but probably into the overnight period because of the fact that we have that second round that we're going to be watching very, very closely as it makes its way in and around our region, too. once again, we're looking at those severe thunderstorm warnings. i'll break these down for you. severe thunderstorm warning for howard, montgomery county until 4:45. charles and prince george's, that's southern prince george's until 5:15 and then fairfax county until 5:15 and tornado warning in effect for charles and prince george's county that until 4:45 and then the flash flooding warning. up around damascus and frederick and portions of montgomery county, that's the area we've seen flash flooding but now in effect for

and i saw a new damage report coming across and six to 12 homes with some structural damage in the remington area of the county and we're going to get more information on that and there is some more storms to come and that one tornado warning now. >> into baltimore. >> until baltimore at 6:30. and we can show where you we have that here and isolated it again to keep everyone up and chasing them this afternoon. and this is going to run us until 6:30 p.m. and, again, what i am seeing on the radar with this storm is not showing a lot of rotation and that is still a thunderstorm and that is eventually go to -- about to cross over the baltimore beltway and that is moving to the north-northeast and if that continues like this, my suspicion is that they're going to allow this to stay out with the active tornado warning, unless it gets back going again and there is still the a lost heavy rain and there is another strong storm that is moving through into d.c. now and this is not severe, the severe thunderstorm warning on it but it's moving inside the beltway now, the western sections of the city, arl

now, this is near remington and fauquier county. so this is our little storm reports. this receiving that we have so far. funnel cloud, multiple reports of a funnel cloud, a little bit off the ground, up near damascus. now we are going add radar and lightning. and this is one line of storms going through but the warm front, the second line that is going to go through from cumberland, stretching down i- 81. we just saw a little rotation or some sheer rather up near cumberland. so that's not a good sign because the second line is already producing twail some severe weather. in fact, this is the storm in cumberland. a little bit of rotation there. we still have the tornado warning for anne arundel county or howard county until 6:30. the rest of us are under a watch until 9:00. anny, let's see how much sheer we have. it's possible with the cold front that we could see individual spinners kind of spin up. at the very least with the cold front we are going to see heavy rain, and we are going to see strong winds as it rolls through. this is an indication of some rotation now,

chairman, along a half mile stretch of remington road in chambley, georgia, under requirement from the pipeline and hazardous waste materials was forced to place 17 new hazard markers on the front lawns of homes in subquigs. that brought the total number of hazard markers to 47. 47 within a half mile stretch. a half mile stretch of road in a residential subdivision where there's no new construction and the pipeline's been there for decades. you talk about ridiculous. the regulation states, quote, markers must be located at each public road cross, each railroad crossing, in such numbers along the remainder of the buried line so its placement is known. though the regulation hant changed, its interprets ahas. we sent a letter to the them. they said, while they specify the minimum number of line markers, they don't define the maximum number. they are allowed to exceed the minimum. look at this front lawn here. five or six markers in the front lawn of a residential area. career i -- clearly this is absurd. i'm certain there are other communities across this great country that are similarly
