ktvu's cristina rendon, you're already there.hat do you know now. >> well, firefighters just wrapped up. they left the scene within the last ten minutes, but we know that three people were injured in this fire. two of them had burnsment one person -- had burns. one person had a separate medical condition that was unrelated. this is where we're at at the 400 block of 23rd avenue. as you mentioned, this fire started just before 2:00 this morning. it quickly grew to a 3 alarm fire, but it was contained to that actual house itself. we do know that the two buildings on either side of the house did suffer some burns on the side of the wall, but it really didn't go in and damage the units, that is the good news there. we know that firefighters went inside. they had to rescue two to three people. again, as we mentioned, one person had burns to their hands, another one had burns to their chest, and a third person had a separate medical condition. we're told that fire crews went knocking door-to-door to make sure everyone got out safely. >

ktvu's cristina rendon joins us now. cristina, what did you learn from police? >> reporter: we're learning now there's still an active search for this gunman. in fact, within the last 10 minutes s.w.a.t. teams moved in down the street here on lenville lane. this is closer to san luis road. buena vista road runs all the way to geary. police have sent out an update asking residents what live in this area to shelter in place as they search for the gunman. we are told they are using a canine as well as a chp helicopter to assist in their search for the possible suspect or a suspect vehicle that was found near the homicide scene. so an active search for the gunman and a possible car he was in. unfortunately there was no description on the man or a description on the car. but we do know that around 1:30 this afternoon a woman was walking near the lindsay wildlife experience on first avenue. she was not multiple times. first responders came to the scene within about two minutes. they tried to revive her but she did pass away. she died from her injuries. police say the
