renee staal with the latest information. renee? >> reporter: good morning, this morning the innocent man is in serious condition at the hospital after he was shot by the undercover cop and it all happened right here on this quiet street. let's look at the scene on beakman avenue around 4:00 p.m. after police say an undercover officer investigating illegal sales met with the suspect in the bronx to make the sure pass. the suspect told the officer to drive to mont vernon where another suspect got into the scar put -- into the car, putting a gun to the undercover officer's head. he gave him the money, and the suspect started to flee. the officer called for backup, and the officer fired his gun hitting the suspect three times in the torso after the suspect had pulled out a replica man. a 63-year-old man who happened to be behind the suspect when it went down was also struck in the torso from the neighbor's gun, and neighbors say this street is extremely quiet, and they were shocked to hear what they said were as many as 14 gun shots. >
