renee o'day has moved from benson elementary school in you valley. we've been speaking to a lot of families and students as they were getting ready to go back to school. this morning, a lot of kids that we spoke to said that they just don't feel safe enough. going back to school, i spoke with one student who was entering the 3rd grade this morning. and when i asked him if he was going to be home schooling or going back to a campus, he said that he just can't go back to campus right now. he doesn't feel safe when i asked him why he doesn't feel safe. he said that he didn't think that the police did enough to protect him and everyone else who was at rob elementary school the day of the shooting. and that's kind of the underlying sentiment that we've been, that we've been hearing about here from parents and other kids as well. a lot of the parents have been telling me that they are leaving the decision up to their children as to whether or not they want to go back to campus or they prefer to be home school. we've been seeing kind of a mixed bag of decis
