reno was 106. both record highs for the day.igh is going to build in for three days. there will be a quick jump inland. they'll be back into the hot category and maybe even some monsoon like moisture coming in on the weekend there. so something couple things going on as we look down the road here for the next couple of days. nice tuesday though. temperatures will be quite comfortable unless you're, you know, too far inland. you don't get fog 6070 by the water and 80s to near 90 inland. tomorrow though, warmer hot on thursday friday. then it looks like it comes right back down on the weekend. >> thank you steve. we have some new video that shows the aftermath of a lightning strike and fire that tore through a home in charlotte, north carolina. now fire crews were able to put out the fire, but you can see there some smoke still coming from that room above the garage. that's where investigators believe the lightning struck and sparked the fire. luckily, no one was home at the time. the fire also burned parts of the house next door.
