he is louis reyes. he was here on the university of maryland campus on sunday when he realized someone had possibly had a heart attack. people were screaming. he carries his own aed. who does that? he grabbed it out of the trunk, ran to the victim. that victim was on the ground. he had collapsed. others had surrounded him including an e.r. doctor from a local hospital. reyes hooked up his aed. it delivered a shock to the man. he not only regained consciousness but began to breathe. he was speaking within a minute. around, nurses around, someone just happen to have an aed in his trunk. what do you think when you think about how this played out? >> this man has very good karma. we happened to be at the right place at the right time and able to help this gentleman. >> reporter: to say he has great karma is certainly true. the man is doing okay. he is still in the hospital. he did thank mr. reyes via e-mail and mr. reyes says he does plan to continue carrying the aed around with him. coming up i will explai
